Persona
Product Management: CPO, VP Product
Frequently the economic buyer. Hears the AI-Native story first (the spine), through the Modernize & True Intent lens: outcomes, evidence, and an informed roadmap. Never funnel language.
Who they are
- Own: roadmap, adoption, product outcomes, the AI-Native question itself. Answer to CEO/board on "what's our AI story."
- Company trigger: product got complex; no "why" behind clicks; roadmap runs on opinions; AI initiative declared or looming.
- Deal role: economic buyer in most real deals (with CTO). The strategic tool-vs-build choice is theirs to carry to the C-suite.
Where they live, what they trust (external research)
- Newsletters and voices: SVPG / Marty Cagan, CPO Club, Lenny's (senior tier), ProducTea for growth-adjacent leaders (CPO Club roundup). Strategic/org-level content lands; tactical PM content doesn't.
- What earns trust: evidence and outcome stats over vision; peer proof from product leaders; frameworks they can bring to the board. They review ~11 pieces of content before ever talking to us (Omnibound): the thought-leadership layer (webinars, blog, podcast) is what fills their day-one shortlist.
- Register: executive, forward-looking, no hype. The Mickey voice (present-tense, no em dashes, ideas over pitch) is calibrated for exactly this reader.
Key messages (sheet) and how to say them
- Time to Value → Time to Outcome: users don't want to learn the product, they want what it produces. The metric behind every other metric.
- Zero Coding (tool entry): live without the engineering queue; and Time to Ship (build): AI-Native in days, not quarters.
- Informed roadmap: from guessing at clicks to reading ranked, written user demand. Intent feeds and sharpens the roadmap. Never "writes."
- The four value shifts (use verbatim from sheet): clicks→knowing; forced adoption→agent-driven champions; surveys→closed loop; reporting on the roadmap→building it with you.
"Your clicks tell you what. They never tell you why."
"The roadmap is hiding in the prompts your product couldn't answer."
"Shipping isn't the win anymore. Shipping the right thing is."
Features that matter to them
| Feature | Frame it as |
| Product Agent (grounded in knowledge + workflows) | Adoption driven by the agent, bounded by what the product can do |
| Conversational Analytics (early access, always) | The informed roadmap: intent taxonomy + Agent Gaps. The dividend of the agent, never standalone |
| Dashboards: resolution, sentiment, handoffs | The feedback loop that closes itself |
| No-code control for product teams ("Agent Studio" name not cleared) | Product iterates the experience without engineering tickets |
Proof pack
Time-to-launch AI-Native: Optibus 4 products, 1–2 business days each · intent-signal stories (booking-a-room, A/B-testing asks) · MixMax retention lift · EverCommerce/RoofSnap live in 1 day. Anonymize externally until cleared.
Vocabulary
Say- "Time to outcome," "informed roadmap," "closed loop"
- "The agent comes first; the intent data is the dividend"
- "Feeds and sharpens the roadmap"
Never- Funnel/activation language (signals Growth PM, shrinks us)
- "Writes your roadmap," "black box," "yet another dashboard"
- "Agentic transformation," "revolutionary"
Motion note: this is the one persona genuinely choosing between motions. The bridge line: "Start as an overlay this quarter; when the AI-Native decision comes, you'll already have the intent data that tells you what to build." Mechanics:

BUILD.
